This album boasts a brilliant combination of dub techno texture and rhythm with glittering space-ambient melodicism, sequencing and scope. Beyond genre pigeonholes, this is an example of truly gorgeous electronic music. Each track is an experience all to itself, but as a whole the pieces form an immensely engaging album. By no means is this strictly background music – the intricate, crystal clear layers demand attention. Top recommendation for fans of dubtech and rhythmic ambient/chilled electronic music alike.
