Miserablism (Electro Mix) is one of the best tracks that Moby ever made. -

An excellent EP by the Pet Shop Boys. The first track is a great and is fun to dance to and the second track is also great, the real gem for me is “Miserablism (Electro Mix)” by Moby is a stunning track that takes me to a lovely lost world with the gorgeous ambience of Neil’s vocals I love the “relax” sample throughout the song, in my top 2 favourite remixes, I also love “Music for Boys (Part 3)” by Altern 8 which is cool and sounds more like the Prodigy than the Pet Shop Boys and is not dissimilar to “Go (Woodtick Mix)” also by Moby and finally you have the “Overtune the Performance” which is an orchestral medley of all different songs which sounds like a soundtrack from a Disney film from the 1950’s. I recommend you purchase this CD, it is truly fantastic! :) :) -

This is a fantastic record! The real gem is not the A-side “Was It Worth It” it is the B-side “Miserablism (Electro Mix)” which feels like you are in a lovely lost world with Neil’s voice over the stunning music by Moby. Forget the stresses of daily life switch your headphones on or your speakers on and turn this on. It calms me down when I am stressed. :) It is possibly Moby’s finest remix and the best remix of a Pet Shop Boys song. I love the “relax” sample by Neil throughout the song. It is a truly stunning and impeccable song. A remix people my age can not understand because it is nice and not vile. I totally recommend this record! :) -

'Miserabalism (electro mix)' is a brilliant, ethereal, ambient track remixed by Moby. Superb. -

Unconvinced about the success of "Was It Worth It?", the first single taken out of their "Discography" album, Neil Tennant & Chris Lowe nonetheless began to release a serie of excellent, brilliant Dance records with moving remixes and impressive post production works. The Electro Mix of "Miserablism", by Moby, is a very good Ambient version of a B-side that never was released properly. Altern 8 is reconstructing "Music For Boys" as a powerful Techno anthem. "Overture To Performance" is a modern classical introduction to their show "Introspective", with Richard Niles conducting the orchestra (there is a funny outtake in the first seconds of the track as he says something like: "Look, let's not discuss this please, thank you." and some guy answering "Well said...").
