Before purchasing this copy, I had the 2016 reissue. I wonder if the company that released this release in 2016 even compared it to the German 1st press... it's a shame. Apparently, all the effort went into the packaging.

Edited one year agoSound is excellent on this German copy. Nice bass and drum presence. Everything just sits right. I don’t have a UK OG but doubt it’s much better.

I the previous question. There is no EMI embossed on the cover. Does that mean something? Is there any difference in the presses?

My Variant seems to be most similar to this one, all the prints in the right place, the card identical, too, but it has NO embossed EMI on cover nor rear. Furthermore, the Matrix / Runout on side 1 is identical, but side 2 states a stamped "96 918 B-3" and a handwritten "6" apart from it. Is this to be considered a variant or a separate version? I couldn't find any matching version without the embossed logo. Thanks for your help.
