The Southern California-native Special K is credited along with close friend Byron Davis in helping to launch the career of J.J. Fad. Davis recently said that Special K ghost produced for the group's "Supersonic" single before it was picked up and revised by Highpowered Productions (Dr. Dre + DJ Yella) and Ruthless Records.
