Trey Gunn

A native Texan who began his musical life at the age of seven playing classical piano. Currently resides near Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA (previously lived in Seattle, Washington). Operates the record label King Crimson Alumnus, Multi-Media Storytell, Music Coach".

Trey has toured and recorded with King Crimson.

In 1992 Trey was asked to Discipline Global Mobile / DGM in 1995).

Trey was a member of King Crimson from the 'Double Trio' formation in 1994 until the 'Double Duo' concluded touring on November 19th 2003. During the late 1990s his role in the 'Double Duo' formation of King Crimson (Belew, Fripp, Gunn and Mastelotto), helped evolve a new and unique instrument — the Warr Guitar. Built by Mark Warr of Warr Guitars this 'tapped' instrument is an 10-string touch guitar with the range of a piano.
