Darryl Pandy

Born December 24, 1962, Chicago native vocalist Darryl Pandy was in the history limelight when the house music sound crossed over the Chicago city borders to the UK and European audience in 1986. Vince Lawrence brought in Pandy to lay down the vocals to "Love Can't Turn Around" that became a US commercial success and made the Chicago house sound and house music as we know it today a widespread phenomenon. The song ventured across the borders, and when it hit UK in mid-1986, it became a UK Top 10 hit.

Darryl Pandy ed away on June 10th, 2011 at the age of 48.
