Been a while since checking this group. Glad to see people are still posting. Johanna Gadski - Enrico Caruso - Aïda-Finale Ultimo (Parte 2°) O Terra Addio = Farewell, Oh Earth
I'm curious if anyone has seen a sticker on the blank side of a one-sided red label similar to the one I added to that release (2nd image). I picked up a few 12" Patents label era red seals, and they had stickers like that on the back. Another one had the lyrics to silent night, with some advertising hype.
Is this a dealer sticker, perhaps? Or did it ship from Victor like that?
One should not assume the original submission had that lyric badge on the obverse. Prior to submitting your image you should have have asked the OS if his copy has it.
Are you quite certain your label matches exactly? Your copy might be an entirely different pressing.

Yes, I am certain my label matches. 3 lines of patent text, ending with May 1912.
I did remove my added release date but that's a different story.
The OP hasn't been active in 11 months, but I'm happy to tag him here: ZakK914
I had to the photo for people to view it to see if theirs matches.
The descriptive back sticker (with lyrics and description of selection) was put there by Victor and "appeared on some black, purple, and red seal issues in the early 1910s." - Collector's Guide to Victor Records.
An earlier version of the sticker that appeared on Trademark and Grand Prize labels only contained pricing and licensing information - nothing about the actual track on the other side.
