Polar is a Swedish label, founded in summer 1963 by Hootenanny Singers.
Bengt Bernhag was label's house producer until his death on 13 July 1971. After his death that role was overtaken by Björn Ulvaeus & Benny Andersson (until 1974).
The company was sold to Universal Music AB.
