Established in 1945 when printing equipment was moved from Częstochowa to Łódź. Initially operated as Zakłady Graficzne "Społem" and from 1st January 1949 as Zakłady Wydawnictw Spółdzielczych Drukarnia nr 2 (ZWS Drukarnia Nr 2). From 1st January 1952 operates under the name "Łódzka Drukarnia Akcydensowa". During communist times it was the main producer of sleeves for Polish vinyl records. Went bankrupt after 1989.
