The Nice Price

This is a reissue series, not a label. Only add this to the "Series" field, together with the actual label of the release. The number on a sticker should not be entered as a catalog number as it is the same for every release. This series should only be added if Nice Price is actually printed on the release or if the release is listed in a printed catalogue of Nice Price releases, often found in the release itself.

IN 1979, CBS Records launched "The Nice Price" series of back catalog albums in the USA, re-releasing classic best sellers at a lowered price. Cover artwork and label type settings look very similar. Some covers have a printed UPC code or a sticker with UPC information.

The Canadian equivalent is The Nice Price / A Joli Prix
