Phoebe Bridgers – Stranger In The Alps

My copy sounds just great, no issues at all. That moment when Conors voice comes in is such a cherry on top of this cupcake.

Very well mastered, got my copy secondhand and don't have any problems with noise besides a couple clicks, which could have been from the previous owner. It's a modern classic.

I purchased one of the later stamped black vinyl pressings. It's dead quiet with lots of inner resolution. There is some sibilance in Phoebe's vocals, but it sounds like a poor EQ decision in the studio. Well worth the money.

The VERY BEST version of this album. It’s one of the best pressings I have period. It’s not often you get a vinyl that sounds virtually perfect, and I wasn’t expecting Stranger in the Alps of all things to sound that good on vinyl. I can’t even listen to into CD or digitally anymore without wanting to throw this on the turntable instead.

This pressing is impressively quiet and done a fantastic job with the dynamics are remarkable!

mine sounds absolutely horrible, on smoke signals there's constant crackling which is really disappointing because this is one of my favourite albums.

Both sides sound beautiful, no cracks or pops, very sleek looking vinyl.

This may just seem like a lousy cash grab by Ocean, but this is actually a really neat record to have on cassette, and it desperately needs to be refreshed. Hear our cries Phoebe!!!
