Ariana Grande – Sweetener

This is such a happy album and it seems like Ariana had so much fun on this. The two songs that caught my attention the most were Blazed with Pharrell and Borderline with Missy Elliott. These songs are well so well written and meaningful.

Sounds absolutely incredible. One of the clearest, punchiest, best sounding records in my collection. 'the light is coming' sounds phenominal and sounds so much better than streaming. Jacket is sturdy and high quality too! My copy did not have a hype sticker though for some reason.

discs are translucent which caught me by surprise because i had gotten one from the restock earlier this year and it was opaque

Just got my copy from the recent restock! The discs are a light peach color with some pretty subtle orange and red swirls, I think they look great. Sound quality wise, I’m a little let down. My black European pressing has less surface noise, less sibilance, and is more dynamic. This peach pressing is able, but noticeably less good. I wonder if the stampers are just worn out or something. Still, I’ve wanted this for a long time, and I’m so happy it’s finally mine!

got a copy of a first press of this variant. Can't compare it to the reissued Peach but from streaming, this is better compared to what Apple Music has especially with how dynamic the instruments are from how Pharell wants it to sound like.

I have the 2024 restock. Disc 1 is like the og peach color but disc 2 is more orange. Disc 1 sounds excellent and disc 2 side 1 sounds pretty good but side 2 of disc 2 has a lot of pops. And disc 1 hole is very tight, but overall pressing is okay I guess.

Just received my copy from the most recent sale on July 12th and it looks great, the spindle hole is perfect, and the sound is incredibly crisp

Have seen a lot of negative reviews and was nervous for mine to arrive but it was perfect and it’s beautiful!!

I have the original 2019 pressing, a friend of mine got the 2024 repress, we both agreed the 2019 looks and sounds slightly better, but it is so hard to get, so going trough the hassle of getting it is just not worth it for slightly better aesthetics and slightly better sound.

Gorgeous 2024 repressing. Arrived in near-mint condition. Compared to my 2018 black pressing, the 2024 outer jacket has a darker color, a bit of gloss, and slightly lighter weight/flimsy. The disc itself is a beautiful true peach color but not very heavy/sturdy. I would say that the actual sound of the pressing is worse than the standard edition, it doesn’t showcase the punch of the production and is unfortunately muffled. I’m happy to have this record for its visual appeal but I’m relatively disappointed with the sound quality and listening experience.
