"vinyl" is both singular *and plural. You dont reissue "vinyls". You reissue "vinyl" records. Also as in "I have a lot of vinyl".

Yes, confirmed: this reissue is great….full and dynamic sound and you hear all details of this rich and lively sound…mastering and vinyl quality are excellent…quiet surface….

P-VINE is the first music label to reissue "Tribe" titles, and we always have considered which materials are the best quality to use when we have reissued titles from the 90s until now. We use original master tapes, original vinyls, and more. Sometimes original vinyls are the best option to reissue vinyls. And we have been releasing them with the latest digital remastering to make the best quality.

On the back of the OBI strip it mentions this release was “dubbed from the original LP due to the absence of the original master tapes”. The Now-Again release mentioned it was remastered from the original tapes, so it does seem like the tapes are available but possibly NA owns them…

I could draw some conclusions here but I’d be interested if anyone can shed some light on this.

This is the version to have. Lots of care and attention was taken on this reissue.

This is dope. Black spiritual music. Mastered and cut by #berniegrundman #philranelin record is spiritual and a work of worship. It’s hardcore jazz but it’s wonderful recorded. Comes with a book on the history of tribe records. #vibesfromthetribe is one of my strangest records. Only thing I don’t like. It’s pressed by Gzvinyl.

This is such a dope album. Very well done for an affordable reissue, complete with a booklet that gives you the history of Tribe Records. Bernie Grundman did his usual outstanding job, the record sounds great.

Sounds fantastic. Clear. Some separation, nice volume. I’m no audio nut, but this one came out great, especially noticeable on the last track.

Hefty Records version (LP & CD) contains two extra versions of "Vibes From The Tribe."
The Extended Version is basically the entire recording of the LP version, which is edited very short. It's worth hunting just for the extended version. Sound quality of this issue is excellent!

A very well done reissue of a unique jazz album. Musically it mixes in funk, fusion, Latin rhythms, and even gets abstract and avant (mostly on side 2). Ranelin's sing/speak vocals on some of the tracks might be an acquired taste for some but I don't mind them at all.
