Edited 8 months agoIt’s really unfortunate that such a great album gets this sort of treatment at the pressing plant. Noise, scratches, pops, non-fill. You name it. It’s all there. Very let down. -
Fantastic sounding record with a whooshing sound on each rotation like WesHeadley said, but specifically on C/D. It is present during the first song on each side and dissipates after a minute or so when the song picks up. Slight wobble on each record. But I think think the depth of the 45 on this version provides a rich soundscape with incredible vocal clarity, so certainly worth it.

My copy didn't come with the hype sticker or the Bandbox book, but it does sound pretty nice. -
“Marble Pink Sunset” and the record looks like that? Massive WOOF. -
wonderful press tbh. looks awesome, and it spins super clean. unlike another commenter, i have no warp to speak of.

Bought this on accident because I didn't realize all their albums were self-titled.
Meant to buy the first album. This one is ~OK, but I try not to have anything on vinyl that I won't give regular spins / that I don't love. So, I'll be getting rid of this one. -
Distortion at the end of each side, which I'm not surprised by given the length of each. Otherwise it's actually surprisingly good -

My second favorite American Football album, somehow they make new songs sound classic and nostalgic. Almost as good as the first album. -

My unit is slightly warped but very quiet and sounds great overall. In my case the record looks completely different from the photo, the colors are much more mixed - probably the prettiest record in my collection.
