This is a long shot haha but Im looking for the Faith insert only, my copy came without one unfortunately. Feel free to message me if you for some reason have a spare copy. I would be forever thankful. Rock on.

I have multiple copies of the 85 press. One copy has light blue labels with Made in on them, but no Made in on the front cover. Some with made in are on white card stock. Others have brown inner card stock. I have two brown card stock copies with the inner seam on different sides. So, there are perhaps more pressings of this than up on Discogs.

This pressing sounds amazing. A good alternative for those who needs this hard-core classic but wants to cut costs.

How does the remastering sound compared to the original pressing? Any opinions?

anyone know why the dedication to Sean Finnegan in the run out grooves on this early repress version? was it a joke or something?

Side 1 is Void and Side 2 is The Faith only on the original 1982 pressing. It was swapped on all subsequent releases for some reason.

50 made of this one according to J.Nelson, although fewer came with the crudely made tracklist labels glued over the actual test press labels and with a flyer ad attached to a plain white cardstock cover, even fewer than that came fully autographed/dedicated to the drummer of United Mutation as shown above.

(Faith) Twisted excursion through frustration, dejection, eroded trust... spitting out rancor and outbursts of stirring fervor entwined throughout.
(Void) Maniacal pandemonium fortified with rampaging guitar leads..to abyss.
Utopia of vinyl.. You are doomed without it.

" Well I've listened to both sides of this album about a dozen times now and I've only had it for a couple of days now. What can I say about it, I'm hardly surprised by the quality of the bands, let's face it Dischord just does not put out bad music, this piece of vinyl is no exception to the rule, it's GREAT. The entire manner in which the album was made puts you in a position to like it, these two bands are extremes in the same world and together on one record they totally send your mind into a shattered mass of disbelief. It's like sitting in a desert and then have snow start falling, do you get what I'm trying to say now ?
The Faith demands respect with their sound which shows a unique sense of originality which occasionally shows you a shadow of influence from Minor Threat. On to Void which in my mind is unquestionably in a class by themselves. Their side of the album is full of surprises that leave you begging for more, no doubt about Void is a band that will have to be reckoned with in the near future. As I already said Dischord doesn't put out trash, so find the money and buy this album which is a kind of like a two for the price of one deal. "

Very important hardcore release; not just for the groundwork for more metallic hardcore on the Void side, but also for the groundwork for the Revolution Summer/"emotional hardcore" sound on the Faith side in the tracks 'What's Wrong With Me?', 'What You Think', 'Don't Tell Me' and 'In the Black'. The Subject to Change EP usually gets the credit, but the sound can be heard developing here.

Also, does anyone know if the two sides were originally intended to be released as separate 7-inches? The lyric sheet for both sides has a gap in the middle of the tracks, and the Faith lyrics even list two side names.
