needs a better description, this film, Land of Look Behind was originally to be about Bob Marleys funeral but the filmmakers shot a bunch of footage but then lost it or something, so decided to use what they did have to make a kind of kool travelogue through Jamaica. Film is a little disted and disorienting, but really great look at roots level Jamaica circa whenever this was shot.

referencing Land Of Look Behind (LP, Album) POL09V 2016
Pressing sounds awesome. I found a used copy at the shop today and I’m glad picked it up. Lush but sparse (and suggestively melodic) ambient/electronic. Every song is a whole vibe. The album cover spine on mine says “09V | 2016”, which I guess distinguishes it from the 2017 reissue? -

This is BRILLIANT moody synth music. Sometime sparse and placid but always about a mood like looking into the long distant highway in the setting Arizona sun. If you like Music For Airports era Eno and the early Jensen/Barbierri<?> music this is a perfect companion. Minimal and mesmerizing music. -
