Great sound quality. Bad pressing.
Cover is incredibly flimsy which is strange considering how robust the Frigid Stars cover is. -

Was surprised at how thin the material of cover sleeve was when I received a copy, but otherwise sounds great. -
The surface noise on this brand new copy is insane - it really spoils the album - real shame it was licensed to this label in the EU

Band is legendary, of course, and the sound quality is great; pressing quality, however, not so much. Looks cool but can definitely hear slight audible haziness on the white splatter sections. Probably best to stick with the black vinyl version. The outer sleeve is thin and flimsy, too, due to the paper stock choice. Looks good, but don't get it wet - probably will soak it up and never get back to normal. -

Sound seems correct. It seems to me to find at least the dynamics of the CD that I have had for 20 years. However, the cover is a joke, isn't it ? The black and white photo appears to be an enlarged photocopy of the original, very pixelated and contrasted. The "white birch" is almost BLACK on this cover !!! The disk should be renamed: "the black birch".

Not as badly warped this time but still a ridiculous amount of surface noise after two wet cleans. Really piss-poor yet again. This album deserves better!!!!! -
PRAYING to the record-plant gods that the reissue planned for this summer in 2023 aren't an off-centre, warped piece of garbage.

Yes the record is a bit warped, however my copy does not have the surface noise others have mentioned. I wanted to throw in my two cents and say that I’m in love with the sound on this one. Hearing the heavy coldness of this album on record made me fall in love with it all over again. Beautiful.
