Frank Sinatra – A Jolly Christmas From Frank Sinatra

I give this a few spins each Christmas and it always makes me smile. Are there better pressings out there? Possibly, but I don't care considering I play it just a few times each December.
My copy is defect free and sounds perfectly fine.

Just picked up a copy of this. Appears to be a carbon copy, but pressed at GZ Vinyl. Has a Made in Czech sticker on the shrink of the back of the sleeve. I can't stand it when people instantly say it must be garbage. The pressing is perfect. As quiet as can be. And I have many GZ pressings are just as quiet. They can be as good as anyone, if they want to be. As good as an RTI or QRP record, in fact, I've had some shite from them multiple times. The mastering is really good for what is undoubtably cut from a digital file. Great soundstage, beautiful original mono presentation. Buy with confidence!

Very good pressing, low noise and good mastering. Amazingly good sound for a recording from 1957. Comes in poly innersleeve. I enjoy this christmas record from good old crooning Sinatra very much. A must-have on every record platter at Christmas time. A classic recording.

Sounds beautiful, a bit low volume but still a fantastic pressing

Have this record, despite 2 cleanings on my vpi, there is still an occasional tick and pop on every song! The label that released this must have done it in a plant that has poor quality control!!
By the way does anyone know who mastered this lp? There is a tiny inscription that looks like RM in the deadwax. Could it be Ron McMaster?

I'd love to know what happened during the mastering of this album - it sounds like buttocks. Feels like tape is either too slow, or faulty.

Great Christmas album but unfortunately this reissue is in Duophonic imitation stereo.

This edition is like dreaming a Christmas dream that comes true. I don't think another edition will produce this sensation of pleasure. I am happy every time I hear it.

Really nice pressing of this classic lp. Made in Holland. Always a good sign.
Sounds great

This is the one to own on vinyl, imo. Balanced, transparent, natural sound. I detect no smiley eq here. Vocal midrange is not recessed and has nice texture. No shrill or tipped up highs. The Japanese JVC vinyl provides the black background needed to let the often delicate vocals and music shine.
