Beautiful sounding pressing. It's like you're in the recording studio. Absolutely destroys the modern Bernie Grundman reissue, that's for sure.

Incredible dynamic range, and the vocals are clear and crisp. Highly recommended. Same high end Sound at "the Kick inside"

Sounds great. My copy is a translucent brown color when held up to a light source.

A lot of records from this era are actually translucent and it’s only visible when held up to light EMI and A&M and a few other labels were using a different formulation (Quiex II) for some of their vinyl that used ink instead of carbon to help eliminate surface noise but created a translucent marbled effect in a light source. Because of this my copy has almost no surface noise.

Pakaging is average at best and sonics are compromised by excessive surface noise.Cant believe people think this sleeve is a product.Real shame,music this good deserves so much more.My battered OG sounds much nicer.

Maybe the mastering is good. haven't heard other editions. But this one has a lot of crackles all over both sides. Quite annoying. CD version might be the solution.

Sounds like junk. Suffers from overcompression and loss of range. It sounds muddled, worse than listening on low quality streaming. They used one of those cheaper "this looks cool but doesn't sound good" tapes to record it on, which might be the problem. I haven't listened to this remaster on other mediums.

One of my all-time favorite albums of all time, and now one of my all-time favorite pressings I own. GOD this sounds so fucking good. I don’t want to listen to it in any other format ever again.

Just get a digital copy unless you enjoy listening to compressed bs

My pressing is dated March 13 2024, it sounds and looks incredible. Almost no surface noise on mine and great sound quality of course. I know everyone doesn’t enjoy the novelty of colored records, but this is totally worth the money. One of the prettiest pressings in my collection for sure.
