Melvins – Hostile Ambient Takeover

Does anyone know if these individual 50 letterpress copies are from the same lot as the box set edition or a separate 50?

My copy also did not come with the booklet included.

Mine is missing the booklet. Hearing loads of people with various issues. Mine is at least not warped, scratched, dinged, or anything like that, but no booklet. Sounds great, easier than the 7 singles.

2 copies so far have had a tick for the last minute of Anti Vermin Seed, kind of a bummer. Other than that it’s a great album/packaging.

It’s entertaining to read Buzz comment in the booklet about how he prefer cd’s, cos this flawless, perfect pressing , definitely sounds better than my cd. Tried and tested ! Sometimes it’s hard to tell, sometimes cd’s sounds better, but most of the time,when the job’s been done correctly, vinyl sounds absolutely better

The pictures of the vinyl here are underwhelming. When you hold it to a light it is very striking, someone with better photography skills than I should it. Finally a decent Ipecac press, its been several years it seems.

This sounds Good, looks Good and Feels Nice. Cool booklet and sleeve design. Been hoping for this album ages and its awesome it doesn't seem like a punch in the face than some ipecac releases lately.

My pressing has an odd mark brown mark on the playing surface that makes a noise but it’s in the section between Black Stooges and Dr. Geek so I don’t care all that much. Other than that it’s a great pressing of a great album.

Aside from my copy being warped, the mastering is phenomenal on this one. Here's to hoping the second variant doesn't suffer from the same problem.

Everything about this pressing is awesome. The gatefold is great. The little booklet that comes with it with a forward from Buzzo about this album is a nice touch too. The sound on this thing is massive. Great, dynamic separation and soundstage. Exactly what I was hoping for when I ordered this.
