I bought this LP new sealed in 1986 from an import shop Attalos in the Netherlands. When I play this again it is a time machine for me, I return again and can only be happy with what I did and experienced then)) Space is the place is fantastic, just like Let's Jam and Teknology ! Still a winner for me !!

The reissues have a "Definitive" version of "Why" that says "the light of Jesus" instead of whatever the album version has ("the light of ABBA"???). I wonder if Sunnyview obligated the group to only release the secular version?

Great mastering on this cd, albeit a bit bright sounding. This was likely done from a very good digital transfer of the original analog master tapes.

I just picked one up from HHV in today; there is a reissue of this.

I liked the first album but didn't enjoy this one at all (apart from the first track). I'd probably prefer the Twilight 22 album over this.

ELECTRO C-L-A-S-S-I-C !!!!!! Space is definitely still the place. For me, there is no higher than Newcleus, the original space funk crew. Still as fresh as a daisy, emotional, sublime & tough as hell- electronic street masterpiece. Check the synth jam on 'Make It Live', or the emotive pads of 'Cyborg Dance', in addition to the better known tracks. Purist electro utopia, from another galaxy.

This Electro/Dance album was way ahead of it's time! It contains some of the coolest atmosphere pads and synthesizers sounds I've ever heard. This band also includes some really interesting vocoder vocals to match the " Space Vibe" it pus off! If your looking for something that has early elements similar to "Daft Punk" I'm sure this will satisfy you!
