Post Malone – Nirvana Tribute

I’m confused about the folks complaining about the sound. It sounds fantastic and is actually a helluva recording for being stream performance.

I guess most people didn’t watch the stream when it happened over lockdown, how good did you think it was gonna sound.
Also most (not all) RSD aren’t great sounding this isn’t new unless it’s your first rodeo.

The sound quality may not be ideal, but upon first listen, it evoked the same feeling I had when I first heard Nirvana's Bleach album. I highly recommend it.

It’s a tribute, it will remain in history and the sound for a “Home Recorded” album is good enough for fun of listening!

I thought it sounded great, songlist was insane as well

This was my surprise find on RSD and the album I've been playing the most out of my RSD purchases.

It sounds better than I thought and worse than I hoped. It sounds like a live in "studio", that it is, for me 100% Nirvana Mood.

BUT WHY THERE'S NOT S FARMER???

This is such an interesting project. Post Malone is a true artist. He does what he wants when he wants...an artist development case study. Post is not defined by boundaries. Kudos.

If you are playing this and expect an audiophile clinical separated soundstage, forget it. That isn't what this performance is about.
Complete LOFI grunge that speaks to the genuineness of the period of time in play. Maybe the recording got lucky that it fit, otherwise you'd be pressed. Condensed, narrow and garage....but clear. Makes me feel I waited up late one Friday night to hear this concert on late night radio.

If you know, you know. This is a winner as it's faithful to the garage sound it emulates.

Don't expect what it's not.
