Sade – Promise

For any audiophiles - I compared this version to a 1985 mint pitman pressing and the original 1985 version is more dynamic with better depth. If you can’t get your hands on one of them this still is a very good pressing.

Audiophile level stuff, sounds incredible.

Is there any info on other variants - I have a record with a runouts that are not recorded above, but everything else seems to match. Do I have the right version?

like the other comments have said, this version sounds absolutely amazing.

No negatives for me, barring the plain paper inner which by plain paper inners is a decent one. Once clean this presents flat, dead centered and super quiet throughout. The audio is very good, no nasties. I still feel double 45rpm for Sade reissues would have given better bass and expanse but this one along with Love Deluxe have worked out well on my system for sound and playback

this pressing is absolutely incredible - it literally sounds like the band are playing in front of me! skip the half speed reissue and buy an original pressing, it sounds so amazing!

Beautiful sounding pressing of what is my favorite Sade album. Absolutely timeless music with one of the most velvety and sultry voices ever!
