The sonic improvement on the Rhino High Fidelity ZZ Top titles I've heard so far is absolutely ridiculous. Pick this up now.

Holy moley! This thing wipes the floor with my OG pressing that has the state of Texas and "Viva Tejas!" etched in the dead wax. It's not just blanket off the speakers - it's mattress off the speakers. Drums that actually sound like drums! Instrument separation! Details I have never heard before. I have 3 copies of this and this is the definitive copy. The only weird thing is they neglected to include some of the original photography included on the tri-fold sleeve. I wish they would have included that stuff as an second insert like they have with other releases. If you are a big ZZ Top fan, this is the one you want.

Ridiculously clear sound. As usual with these Rhino remasters. Love it.

Mine plays through great and I rank the mastering quality right up there with the jalapeno green Tres Hombres.
