Contrary to what some people think, "Walk this Way" was NOT the first attempt at the Rock meeting Rap thang. The first (to my knowledge) was "Rock Box". Similar to hearing Kraftwerk's "Numbers" or AON's "Beatbox", "Rock Box" did not sound like anything we'd heard before and made a hell of a splash in NYC.

Profile records made sure to include a mix without Eddie's guitars on the 12" just in case the main mix was too "heavy" for urban kids. We actually played BOTH versions from our boomboxes at the time though...
