Danny Elfman – Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

I cannot believe people expect anything more than low quality sound on a picture disc. Blows my mind! It’s a collectible! It’s not made for amazing sound!

Nice to watch but little amplitude, just decent sound, and surface noise, cracks and clicks…
it's always annoying to buy a new record in such a bad pressing. Very disappointing and re-sold immediately.

A relatively noisy pressing even after cleaning twice with my Record Doctor VI. I don't mind the audio quality but would really like to hear the Mondo version. I'm skeptical to spend almost $100 on the Mondo version though since it's a GZ pressing... might give it a shot.

Mine is similar, says "Printed in U.S.A." on the CD itself (front) but runout has the following:
MFG BY CINRAM INC. [at 1 o'clock] #9309211 J [at 7-8 o'clock] 6085520 [at 11 o'clock]
The CD booklet has song lyrics, white background black text surrounded by artwork also in black and white.
All I know is that "MFG BY CINRAM INC." is a Canadian company, but CD and booklet says "Printed in the U.S.A." Also the Canadian variant has "Made in Canada" printed on the CD (front) - which mine hasn't (as mentioned above).

Btw this CD sounds fantastic. Danny's singing is very upfront in the middle, sounds like he's in the room.

As a side note: I find it a bit odd/lazy that the counterpart vinyl pressing, e.g. the 2016 Bone & Aqua release, doesn't include song lyrics (which is btw considered as the finest vinyl release of this soundtrack).

Haven't listened to it yet, but the yellow disc is badly splotched with purple or black like it was pressed in a messy hurry at the same time as the people one. I'm afraid to even put my stylus on it

Cool zoetrope effect with a camera and light. Vinyl is a little noisy, but a fun one to have. However I received 2 copies of Disc 1. So If anyone has 2 copies of Disc 2, maybe we could trade. Ha

I might have received a new variant from Amazon, it matches this release except with D002074801-A/B/C/D runouts. Black vinyl, weighing 165g. Perfectly flat and sounds excellent compared to the zoetrope version.

Omg the discs are so beautiful I love this. Found it for $19 brand new on eBay shipping included
