Mahavishnu Orchestra – Visions Of The Emerald Beyond

I have two UK copies from the 70s, from the year of release I think...but this pressing beats both sonically quite easily. Instrument separation is more distinct here. Although this is never going to be an audiophile demonstration record, this is probably the best it's going to sound. Flat, silent vinyl. And the lushest deep orange colour. I could stare at it for hours. Gatefold too, which is how this album should be presented (but rarely was back in the day). Recommended.

As is often with older cds, this presents faithful reproduction of the original analog record, ie. no brickwalling nor any sheen from cheap converters. Missing the tactile experience of course.

WOW! after finally running into a almost NM copy. Now i see what was people talking about all this years. This is an incredible album this is a constellation were all this geniuses lined up to record a master piece incredible. I am speechless.

My goodness this sounds incredibly good. The vinyl is flat, perfectly pressed. It’s quiet and I haven’t heard a single pop or crackle. The soundstage is wide and deep. Highly recommended.
