Manic Street Preachers – Generation Terrorists

Not sure if a general reissue but HMV reissuing this on 14/6/25 on Pink vinyl

N.B. I bought a copy that matches all visual details but does not include the 5:22 version of "Little Baby Nothing" but the standard 4:59 version in its place. I plan to create a new version listing for my copy. Can anyone with a copy containing the 5:22 version of the track the details in this version listing *all* match their copy?

I disagree, do not avoid the GT US mix. Not surprisingly, Sony North America chopped this down to a single disc. But our consolation is this mix features Sean’s drums which had been inexplicably replaced by programmed beats on the original, UK mix. On Slash ‘n’ Burn alone you can immediately feel the difference, the song is bigger, more furious in the US mix. Some instruments are “wetter” ie adorned with reverb, too, giving the album a more American, stadium rock gloss.

Is Drastic Plastic’s online shop kaput? I’d love to buy this and a slew of other D.P. reissues directly from the label, but last time I checked their website was shut down.

Grew up with the CD. Managed to pick this original press up a few years ago, every time I put it on I'm blown away by the clarity. Bass is so punchy, and the guitars cut right through. If you love this album, this is the copy to seek out.

love this lp, playing it since the last 20 and plus years and still sounds awesome to my ears and in my stereo system, how it is mixed is great, the guitars and the bass are just killer.

Avoid this version! It’s not the full album. Get an original UK pressing on 2 LPs or the recent reissue.

So pleased to have stumbled across this version in HMV for £20. Vinyl is totally flat and very quiet, sounds fantastic. Well worth the wait finally upgrading my original CD from back in 1992. And having Suicide Is Painless at the end is a real bonus!

Regarding the plastic sleeve, my copies of all in this reissue series, apart from EMG and THB, open at the top with an excess flap hanging down, and, from I've been told, do not have the standard Japanese mini LP wallet. EMG and THB open at the side with the seal towards the end of the flap.
Does anyone own a copy of this with the more standard plastic sleeve, opening at the side, with the seal close to the edge of he flap? Or does yours also open at the top?

The white vinyl looks beautiful, but sounds bad/fizzy unfortunately, especially towards the centers.
