Coldplay – A Head Full Of Dreams

This is the pressing to get. Punchy, big and full of color. Cut at abbey road and pressed at Optimal. The two discs gives every track a chance to shine.

My copy is dead quiet. Sounds good and dynamic to my ears. I assumed this was going to be an eco-record release but it just seems to be standard vinyl.

Was generally quite disappointed when I heard this. A lot of these songs are so energetic and full of life, especially Adventure Of A Lifetime. But I feel nothing hearing the album like this. Except for Everglow, to me it otherwise sounds quite flat and lifeless. Will just go back to playing this album on streaming or CD. A far cry from the other Coldplay vinyl's I have which sound brilliant on the same system (AROBTTH and X&Y). The volume is rather low but I didn't notice any surface noise at all, so no complaints there, but a couple of skips. No idea if colour made any difference but mine's bright green.

My copy has a blue, purplish marbled look which I think looks great. Sound is good, a few crackles throughout but not at a level that's annoying or takes away from the experience. Sound is warm with good bass. Record was clean with no warping or any other visual or quality issues.

Mine is more of an orange color with some yellow faint splatter appearing on it. Not something I care about much, since the price tag is pretty nice. I think the pressing sounds awesome!! I didn’t find it too bassy as others here had mentioned. Sounds nice and crisp.

I had no idea this was “recycled” - mine just looks straight up red. Like any normal red record I’ve ever gotten. So maybe I’m lucky? (I scanned the barcode from the back, so I should be in the right spot)

Record sounds great BUT has some definite pops and a decent audible popping scratch on Head Full of Dreams that 1,000% wasn’t me. Not at all the quietest wax I’ve ever heard. I also cleaned the record before playing on my Record Dr as I do with every new record.

Still worth what I paid for it… $25 or less. But still kind of disappointing, especially the scratch to start off. Hopefully with repeated play it lessens how audible it is.

Sounds are pretty decent, but when I unwrapped the record there was a lot of "stains" which seems to be normal, but record had also hairlines. So as a new record, you get some cracks and pops. I bought this record 8000km from my home, so not really possible to swap it.

This is a masterpiece that no one respects.
The 2 LP vinyl sounds fantastic.
However this one LP version is a lot easier to enjoy.
A bit noisy, but nothing like Music Of The Spheres.
Label says Made In The USA, so I am thinking Memphis Record Pressing but I am not sure.

Mine looks pretty close to the mockup photos, but a lighter shade of green and slight marbling in the light. It looks really cool actually i love it
