Nice and quiet pressing. A bit bassy on tracks like A1. Not sure if it’s the mastering or the artist’s intention, though. Most importantly, the music is great. I had completely forgotten how good this album really is. Great songs.

Sounds great. As I would expect an early Paul Simon record to sound. The mix and presentation are both spot on. There is good separation of instruments. Bass is very present. I’d say the vocals are very forward in the mix. But this works well for Paul Simon’s sound.

I dont see any reissues listed that jump out as notable. If someone wants a good representation of this record, this original US Columbia should hit the mark.

Is it numbered or not? Notes say it is, but the images don’t show numbering.

Notes also say it has a cardboard inner sleeve then say it’s a pink poly sleeve in the next paragraph.

A bit of clipping in the high end, but not bad all things considered. This is how I’m listening to this album for the first time - I like it!

This 24-bit 96kHz remaster, coming 44 years after its debut, sounds amazing, like it was just recently recorded. The clarity, dynamics, and mix are perfect. The soundstage is very wide and deep, making speakers nearly disappear. From the long list of credits it's clear that this album was quite an undertaking. The result is a rich tapestry of sounds, and there's never a dull moment.

They each show the different sides of the same cap Obi. On one side it is thin and yellow, and the other, wider and orange.

A fine example of the quality of the work of Ryan K. Smith at Sterling-this sounds so good!

Purchased this from ebay in the last few years but never got into it from the off,this has mainly changed with my system changes.
It's a Paul Simon classic with some lovely lyrics throughout accompanied by plethora musicians so you`ve got different personnel on every track playing to a very high standard.
LP has a nice flow with no real fillers just easy listening that most fans will enjoy.

Just picked this one up for a couple of bucks…stunned at how great it sounds. It is mastered loud, but no distortion. Amazing dynamics, clarity, huge soundstage. One of the best sounding records in my collection. I also have a 1972 Pitman Pressing that is also incredible. Not sure which I prefer, I think it’s whichever I am playing at the time.
