Notes
Created and processed at Akoma Workx, London.
The tracks are presented as A1 to A3 on disc one, B1 to B3 on disc two etc. both on the sleeve and labels, however, each label has still been marked with a big letter, A to F, as artwork.
Sleeve and label erroneously list B1 and B2 (called A2 and A3 on release) in opposite order, as well as the following incorrect track durations: C1 (B1 on release): 6:40 and F2 (C3 on release): 8:14.
Tracks B2 (A3 on release) and E1 (C1 on release) are cut to play inside-out.
3500 copies were pressed.
Runout info is hand-etched and all NSC etchings are placed in an oval circle.
Runout on B has a crossed out C after -Side B- and promptly before the ensuing B.
The outer rim on the E side has the etched info split between three lines and renders the ensuing playing surface as a 10". Further, as the track on E starts from the centre and moves outwards, it ends in a closed groove after the etched info just before the outer rim. There is also locked silent grooves at the outer edge if anyone tries to play it from there.
Runout on G has a crossed out D after TRu LP 8.

Absolutely seminal Advent tracks across three pieces of well pressed vinyl here
Really happy to have stumbled back across this whilst cataloguing.
Quite a few of these tracks made their way onto mixed recordings over the years :-) -
Edited 4 years agoColin Dale played this on one of his (probably last excursions on Kiss FM ?)1994 .... D3 City Limits 6:50
Bg loveages to you MR Dale XXX
And obviously to MR Favor . . REEEEEEEESPECT :) -
Comment: And in 2012 it sounds as fresh as ever! A techno-milestone, haha. In fact more electro than techno, it's still a listening pleasure that keeps your feet tapping. 10 of the 12 tracks emerge as tremendous grooves, 2 of 12 remind you of oldschool dumpstyle. And - how many records do you have that play inside-out? nice gimmick.

Edited 19 years agoThis is one hell of an album ! As far as hard Techno goes it's hard to find much better. Packed full of dark menacing grooves, this is not for cheeseheadz !
The first time I heard "Bad Boy" was on Jeff Mills' "Liquid Rooms" CD and it quite literally blew me away. One of the most floor destroying techno tunes ever made. It's hard to pick out other highlights as it's such a great LP overall. The Electro tracks are also incredible. As good as, if not better than anything Drexciya have done.
This album makes for good listening at home because as the previous reviewer said these grooves are aimed more for the mind and soul. However anyone who's heard these monsters on a loud system will tell you - The Advent Rock !
This was The Advent's pinnacle release in my opinion as nothing I've heard from them since matches this.
Awesome !!!

I have never been heard a better work from those two talented technoproducers like this album! Most of the tracks on it are more experience for your ear and your soul than beeing funky dance tracks only. This is a reference for their great work on Internal. Tell me the reason why this cool imprint is closed now?
