The older American pressings get a bad rap (generally more than well deserved) but this old mono of MMT actually sounds pretty good, and is way cheaper than the 2014 release. I found mine cheap at a used record store (priced like a stereo copy). If you can find it in good shape, pick it up. It’s better than the contemporaneous stereo version by a mile. -
I have the same album with the same matrix numbers (G-2:) except the label on Side B has "Produced in England by George Martin" in normal font, Side A has the same text but is in italics!
