Gotta agree with the negative reviews here. This is shit. Leads up front and too loud. Everything else pushed way back. Compressed sounding garbage. There are better pressings of this Priest essential, too bad I chose this one. Should have known better. Must have been high when I purchased it.

Not a best LP record quality wise, but it’s not as bad as people saying here in comments. Maybe I got lucky but my pressing sounds pretty descent, little noisy sometimes but it’s not terrible. Little compression, not crazy though. Overall, it’s worth to have it, especially considering the reasonable price.

Very bad release... One of the worst i own...i sell it immediately and bought first edition 15e vg+. The difference is like the day and night

Edited one year agoUnfortunately like other reviews, the pressing I got sounds like a CD master, which I would have been fine with just to have another Priest album in my collection, but when I got to the title track it is distorted as all hell - not enjoyable at all. I don't like unnecessarily refunding things from my local record store as I know it's not an easy business to be in, but this is the first time I have.

Edited one year agoGreat album besides its physical faults! Mine came slightly warped and bowed but the mixing sounds OK. Does need to be turned up ALOT to get anything out of this album. Lots and lots of noise in the quiet parts and dead space :))
-
I’ve not heard the original press, but this one is a tad overblown for my taste. Everything is up to 11, so it sounds big but has no dynamics. Can also detect a bit noise in the dead wax from this pressing.
A listenable copy none the less. -
Edited one year agoThis is a $20 mass produced record. Some of these reviews are wild as if they paid $100. Lol cmon guys. If the album is so important to you spend the big bucks on originals. Stop over critiquing $20 mass produced records.

Edited one year agoHorrible IGD at the end of each side, and it clearly uses the brickwalled 2001 CD remaster with inverted stereo channels.
