My mom bought me an 8-track of this with a bunch of other tapes and along with some piano instrumental album which I forgot the name of but had an instrumental of "MacArthur Park" and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's SO FAR, this album of which I'd gone into cassette, LP, and now CD format was sure the most-listened to...

The differences of some of the recordings, mostly the early ones on Side 1, aforementioned, are the real grab, of why I like this of all this group's recordings the best!

The most direct and focused of America's best hit-making period, before Dan Peek left after HIDEAWAY (recorded in Colorado) and HARBOR (better known as HAWAII)... -- Dave

This Harry Moss cut compilation as denoted by the etched "HTM" in the runouts featuring tracks remixed specifically for this release by George Martin is excellent. I'm not certain the stampers are UK sourced, but it makes sense.

classic 70's and 80's warmth of vinyl on the compilation. Too bad 'Magic' wasn't around then to get onto this one, but all the rest sound musical and nice!

America’s form of light, folk-influenced pop is similar to many other artists of the time and likely were heavily influenced by predecessors, The Byrds, Neil Young and Crosby Stills & Nash to name a few. In the runout on side 2, there is a stick man drawn with quotes around it, is this on all the copies?
