Has anyone compared the Black and Clear pressings to see if they sound different?
I wonder if the clear may be compromised on sound quality, although I think they are super cool! -
Can anyone this? I picked up a clear copy and noticed, while the records are clear and PVC cover have the correct stickers IDing as clear pressing (UHF-D02RC), the gatefold cover says UHF-D02R on the back. I believe this is the code for the black pressing.
Anyone else with a clear pressing notice the same thing? -
Should there be a separate entry for Obi editions? It seems like there should be since those are gonna be much harder to come by.
-
A truly divine package, they really went all out on presentation and sound! Scratched off a winning ticket, too.
-
These sound amazing!!! Really happy with the package overall (though notes on sleeves rather than on the back of the foldout poster would have been a bit better - as it stands you have to open it fully to read, and can't really use it as a poster unless you want to forgo reading them in the future).
I lucked out by having them show up in a tiny indie store in the Midwest after having several pre-orders canceled for lack of stock. My drive was worth it - the Transient lottery scratch-off was a winner! -
Looks and sounds excellent, the demos are very interesting to listen too, for they portrait the sketches where the final versions are drawn from. Finally, the best version of this wonderful disc. Packaging is stunning too.
