What can I say? This is the last of the four Fillmore '69 Boxes I obtained. And before I got this one I thought there is likely no outstanding evening, each of the four night has its own right and beats the other one in its own respect. BUT now that I have listened to THIS, well... All I can say is: This is it! This is the big one. This is so good!! Glad to have it. And the others. -
This is one of the best sounding and well pressed Dead Box Sets I have in my collection.

Wow — a real sonic improvement over the other sets in this series! Just dynamite! Deep lows, crisp highs, all in perfect balance. A great set! -
I’m a bit disappointed. Just had a chance to listen to this, and after opening the package find that I am missing the pen ultimate LP in this box set. The reason I shelled out $102.99 for… side 5 (Dark Star). LP 5 and 6 (St. Stephen> The Eleven), included Two (2) Side 7 (Death Don’t Have No Mercy, Alligator >Drums)/Side 8 (Jam). Not sure how I go about getting the right LP for the box since it’s a such a limited release, or even if I can. It’s too bad because the sound on the records is fantastic. I guess I need a miracle. Any heads out there able to help a brother out, or at least point me in the right direction? Correspondence with Rounder and dead.net seems likely. At the very least, I wonder if anyone from David Lemieux would, or does care? Probably expect things like this happen. Guess I’ll find out. Until then, hope you enjoy the record if you get it. -

Amazing sound !! I already had the 27th in the purple box. I wondered why I would need the 28th in the green box? I listened to the show on archive.org and it was amazing. I bought the green box set of the 28th and I am pleasantly surprised. Great show and great sounding records!!
