Made in Gt Britain is not printed in the same area on label: outside around the rim on transition copy as opposed to inside the rim on other UK copy.
Inside Cover: Has Harvest and SQ logos, and in lower right corner it says "7307 TPS Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Q4 SHVL 781."
Inner Sleeve: Black printing on white paper. The inner sleeve has an explanation about "What is Quadraphonic Sound," and how the SQ system works.
Matrix runouts are similar to second pressing.

Huge airy & organic sound. Really nice pressing. I listened it on stereo system, with Shibata needle, super fine. Really live feeling in the living room with this pressing. Amazing. (I hate the cover!) :)

An absolutely fantastic way to listen to this album! There are plenty of audiophile versions of Atom Heart Mother that exist, but none of them offer the true openness that this copy offers, especially in quadraphonic! If you have an SQ system, this is so worth it.

I don't own an original copy Stereo from 1970, but I can say that this one is fabulous.
I lesson it stereo and a world is in front on me. Everything is well separated and clear. -
I think you could easily argue that this quad mix (either in 4 channel or listened to in 2 channel) is a better mix than the common stereo. If you see one of these, grab it.
