Always loved this tune. I have the 7" version of the single. Though there they have cut the intro and cut a bit off the end. Plus, 12" is generally a better quality as there is more space. I found the 12" in my local record shop and bought it. Still on the look out for the album. Though this single is still a keeper. Mainly as A Month Of Sunday's isn't present on the vinyl release of the album due to space.

Its just one of those songs no matter what style of music you like, you have to appreciate what a quality tune this is.
Im not saying its the all time best summer tune ever but it has to be in the top 10.
It dosent matter what age you are, but everytime you listen to this song it instantly takes you back to your childhood days around summer time (well it does for me anyway) thats how good this song is. Don Henley captures that moment perfectly.
