I bought this and the vinyls and brown and purple/grey. The code on the sleeve brought me here, are they fake?

What tha hell u talkin about....this album has bad mastering since its came out....it sounds as good as it can on this pressing...
-
Anyone heard this version compared to the US 2019 one? This one sounds pretty good, but not as clean as I expected. Good amount of sibilance/distortion on the vocals. Debating whether to try and return this one for the US one.

Edited 2 years agoI have to agree with Brian7411 very lackluster on a good system. Mids are covering the bass and sibilance on the voices… maybe MOFI one day…haha. My copy has the runouts for this European pressing, but a made in Canada sticker on the back. Does anyone happen to know what thats about?

Played on a Planar P3 and I've to say it was a great experience. Very dynamic and rich sound. The pressing is great too; little to none distortion and static.

Edited 2 years agoI've got to agree with the disappointed ones, sound quality is underwelming considering that this is one of the better sounding albums of all time. I wonder if people are not giving credit to the pressing, when they should simply give credit to Dr Dre for mixing this album so well.
As for this pressing, I first thought it was ok when playing it on my audio-technica turntable, but it sounds very lackluster since I've upgraded my system. A good soundsystem tends to be unforgiving with mediocre pressings, and it shows. The mids drown in the bass, the voices are close to sibilance. Maybe one day we will get the vinyl pressing that this album truly deserves.. -
This record is Perfect! Couldn’t have been done any better! So anyone giving negative reviews has a crappy system. Cuz this record Bangs! Quiet between tracks, solid Bass, crystal clear highs and mids too! If you’re considering buying this, don’t think twice, just get it! You will not regret it. It’s every bit as good as the best Chronic pressing. No doubt!
