HELP needed!
my box contained the
In Heliopolis: Unreleased Recordings
TWICE with fitting sleeve,
but missed out on the last volume
Egyptian Oasis: Unreleased Recordings
Does anybody share this problem and has the complement to swap?
-
Edited 4 years ago(edit) Just to note that the interviews on LP1 Side 1 are not listed as tracks on the box, nor are their timings included, which can confuse a person (as it confused me). They are noted on the original Thoth Records release page, though. Also, wow, I guess I got really lucky on RSD, I was about 15th in line and apparently no other Sun Ra heads in front of me..

Finally Strut deigns to tell us what the CD version will include, just not on their bandcamp page. The press release reveals a 4-CD package and unless there's some error, it looks like a second version of Space Is the Place is included as track 11 of 12 on the 4th disc, which doesn't appear on the vinyl box set, and isn't included with the digitial . Go figure. Probably a typo.

Strut site had them at 8:50am cst this morning and by the time they posted them on their bandcamp site 10 minutes later they were completely sold out of the deluxe box set. However, they do have the original 3 released albums still available as individual albums or sold as a bundle, just not the 2 bonus unreleased albums. I was fortunate to get one of the last copies of this because I refuse to pay the insultingly-greedy scalped version here. $500 for an $85 set? GFY

I was watching the website this morning in US when they put them up. 5 minutes early and finally snagged one.
-
The ones Strut had seemed to have sold out as quickly as on RSD.
What is frustrating is I have the three Saturn LPs, so just want the bonus material, which Strut aren't releasing separately although they are everything else. -
Don't feed the sharks, buy it directly from the label:

There are different coloured sticker on shrink: 1- Yellow. 2- Green. (At the moment)
The Green one should be very rare or a mistake.
This information has to be confirmed by other holders or K7.
Anyone has copies with some more different coloured stickers? -
My copy of this has the side 1 label for the 4th record on side 1 of the 5th record. All other labels in the set appear correct.
