      Yeah, there legends and they're amazingly talented. Now can someone please tell me if they have this pressing and if its good. I have a pressing from '74 from Argentina that uses mediocre vinyl, at least I think that's the problem. If you just want to complement how amazing someone is please go to allmusic.com. Yes, the Beatles are amazing. The Rolling Stones are amazing. I am looking to get the best pressing of this album. That's why most people come here, to be the best vinyl copy of a record. And did someone just say "Elis was the Amy Winehouse of Brazil"? I love Amy Winehouse but Elis was a much bigger figure who did a lot more recordings.

          Beautiful album of the late Elis Hurricane Regina. Tom Jobim is epic in this album too. A true masterpiece recorded in LA. Proud to own this as Elis was the Amy Winehouse of brazil -died too young.

            "In spite of all this, the album "Elis & Tom" is considered one of the most important in our musical history - and was even charged as "compulsory reading" in the entrance exam of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in 2018, along with classic Brazilian literature.
            This is because the lyrics and melodies of this recording carry a great lyric weight, as well as helping young people to know a little more about these two personalities so important to the history of our music.

              Someone could confirm the difference with release https://discogs.futbolgratis.org/Elis-Tom-Elis-Tom/release/10283295 ? Matrix on my record are GE 200 6349 112 A2/B2 TL and seems to link with the other release.
