Reviews

Just adding to the praise for this one. What a great pressing, just what this excellent album deserves.
-
This album sounds stunning played through Tidal, even the CD sounds great.
But this vinyl tops everything. It has great neutrality and a lovely soundstage.
While Lou was making this album, he would take cuts to a friend's house
because the friend was a major audiophile, but Lou got the bug and ended up
an audiophile himself.
He really cared about how we got to hear his music reproduced.
R.I.P New York City Man... -
Yeah I couldn't believe this was done at Optimal... I figured it was Record Industry for a second I was thinking ... Pallas ? Alice Tully Hall also fantastic ...

Edited 4 years agoThis pressing is superb. Wide soundstage, deep low end and Lou’s voice sounds like it’s right there in your room. Vinyl is thick, flat, centered and dead silent.I would love to know where it was pressed. I suspect Optimal since there is a “Made in ” sticker on the back. Poly lined inner sleeves and separate lyric sheet. If only all reissues were of this quality.
