Mac Miller – Swimming In Circles

Reading these reviews has me feeling blessed. Received an excellent copy of this around 2022 for 70 dollars, with barely any surface noise, 0 warping, and all the correct sleeves. Crazy to see how much this pressing has skyrocketed. I bught it because I love Mac and this record truly is an incredible tribute to what was always intended to be a fully complete works made of both albums. The photo book is beautiful and the poster will always be on my wall above my record setup. If you get this box set I hope it brings you as much joy as it brings me.

Swimming came in perfect flat condition with lots of surface noise (doesn’t bother me too much) circles came warped but sounds perfect, beautiful box set for collectors nice details with packaging beautiful color on each vinyl goes with the overall theme

Lovely packaging and nice looking vinyl. Sound is okay and the bass is great. I noticed a good amount of pops & cracks along with a surface noise. I wont be getting rid of my standard black copy of Swimming and will probably pick up a copy of Circles if I find one for a good price. I'm still happy to have this as a collectors item sat next to my WMWTSO boxset.

It's a beautiful box set, I've had it since release but there is quite a lot of surface noise to the point where I rebought both of these albums because the box set is a hard listen.

Disappointed - my set came with 2 discs of swimming 1 and is missing swimming 2. If anyone has the opposite problem I would love to swap. Pressing is otherwise great.

I got a good deal out of it because the exterior package was BUSTED and the store gave me a discount. But the boxset is beautiful, nice booklet and posters. Two of the discs were flat as pancakes, the second LP of swimming was warped and the first one of Circles was just a little warped. Doesn’t affect sound quality but I’ll get Swimming fixed because there is something about a warped record that makes my skin crawl. But it’s a really beautiful tribute for any Mac Miller fan. If you’re not particularly excited about it just get Swimming (there is an UO blue that looks just like it) and Circles separately.

Such a beautiful tribute to such a legendary and relatable artist. Clean, great quality pressed records that sound great. Nice colors that fit the theme. Definitely worth it if you are a machead

To be honest this is my favourite vinyl box
with my favourite albums, quality is brilliant! Go grab yours ;)

Both of albums are amazing. Really love how they sound on vinyl. But I absolutley hate this box set...

There is a feeling that the box was made by those who read from left to right. It is very inconvenient to put the box on the shelf so that everything looks smooth. Also, the quality of the inner sleeves leaves much to be desired. In general, all the external factors that could have been spoiled were spoiled. Packaging, envelopes, no antistatic bags and so on. The quality of the materials of the records is not very good too. The colors are chosen just terribly. It is very inconvenient to search for certain tracks. The same situation is with my edition of Awesome Wave from Alt-J. But the sound quality is good. The mastering is good too, the sound is not distorted or anything like that. In general, everything is tolerable. The artbook also pleased me. The quality of the photos is incredible. But the appearance of the publication as a whole is very spoiling the presentation. So much so that I'm already ready to buy two albums separately just to listen to them without touching this unfortunate box set. But I am very grateful to Maс and his family. So I will raise the rating of the record so as not to spoil the overall picture. Thank you, Mac, for getting me out of a terrible state.
