Points for: interesting concept, plays to Camel's instrumental strengths, pockets of good music, great cover
Points against: concept mishandled, world music influence, '80s keyboard patches, Andy sings, the most literal lyrics in the history of recorded music -
Very VERY underrated concept album by Andy and the band. Well written lyrics and music compositions. Many of you prog heads need to re-visit this gem. Like fine wine aged in a lost cellar many of you will rediscover this one. Without Pete Bardens in the line-up the band had a different edge but Andy kept the core progressive institution in the music compositions alive. Not a Snow Goose but still an excellent effort by very competent group!
