Notes
Recorded at Sunset Sound and Sound City, Hollywood,
and at Neil's home studio, Topanga, CA, Aug. 1969-June 1970
Supplied originally with a full size printed sheet of lyrics, hand written and then set out as a facsimile of 15 pages of note book size sheets, all viewed together, and clearly in the songwriters hand.
Most of these songs were inspired by the Dean Stockwell-Herb Berman screenplay "After The Goldrush".
Addenda: B6 title appears as "Crippled Creek Ferry" on rear of gatefold sleeve, but as "Cripple Creek Ferry" on side B paper label.
The artist Neil Young only sings "Cripple Creek Ferry" in the chorus of that song.

I bought a copy with this catalogue number but it had the 3 colour steam boat label not this later tan steam boat label. It was a uk pressing but i returned it as it skipped loads and had lots of surface noise. I have since seen no reference to this album with the earlier label. Has anyone rlse come across one?
