The single My Name Is meant at the beginning of 1999 the big break for the American rapper Eminem. He made his debut in 1996 with the cd Infinite, but only at the great work could start after he was discovered by Dr. Dre. That produced three songs from The Slim Shady LP. Who thought that only dark gangsta rappers were coarse, are mistaken. Also (the white) Eminem can stir his mouth. About bare, but nice grooving beats he raps at a breakneck pace, but in a flowing style are lyrics about sex, drugs and violence. Although there is no songs stand up at the same level as the hit My Name Is, is The Slim Shady LP, thanks to the hefty dose of humor, one of the best hiphopplaten of 1999.
