Fantastic music, i had luck, no warped records... but the surface noise is too much, way to much for these intense recordings.

Edited 2 years agoPro-ject Carbon w/ ortofon 2M blue. To be fair, there is a bit of noise on the very very quiet part on side A. Then, very solid press !

discogs really needs to implement reviewers adding their equipment used when reviewing, my first play on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon running an Ortofon 2m Blue sounds QUIET and fantastic. Record is indeed a little warped but any serious vinyl collector has a clamp or weight to help counteract the problem along with a decent stylus with good tracking. Does this come off a little elitist? Probably but come on man if you are using a $100 turntable what do you expect

Such a great album, such an awful pressing. Warped, and a TON of surface noise and some skips, even after cleaning. What’s worse is the album has some pretty quiet stretches where the hissing almost makes it unlistenable.

Sadly the pressing I bought is also full of pops & clicks, surface noise, & noticeable/audible warping.
Light scuff marks on one of the inner sleeves...
The noise isn't that noticeable when it's loud but there are plenty of quiet parts that get ruined by the it. Sad. Such a beautiful record. -
This isn't the quietest of pressings... damn. Even after cleaning there are patches where the surface noise is pretty irritating. For such a quiet record, that's a real shame.
