This is the Quadraphonic mix encoded using the SQ system. (There is another version encoded using the QS system.) This will sound just like a stereo record if played on conventional stereo equipment. You need an SQ decoder for proper Quadraphonic playback.

Distinctions of the UK Quadraphonic release:
1) Label shows titles as "Quadraphonic Ommadawn" as opposed to "Ommadawn" on conventional releases;
2) QV 2043 cat. no appears on both sides (V 2043 appears below these numbers in smaller font);
3) label sticker on front cover shows QV 2043 cat. no.; spine cat. no. is shown as V 2043, so no quad-specific covers were printed for the quad remix copies.
