Call me old fashioned & lame but I am tracking sifting thru buying WAY WAY too much illAF crazy newshit to be bothered with the old except for I'd QUICKLY jump on an ILLED OUT GAUZE BOXSET collected works hopefully limited like cray curated by a rabid superfan in conjunction with the band...It could even be on all three formats put out by AgitPunk with there thousand dollar shipping fees from Etale-
      ..
GAUZE is due for the elder statesmen legendary epic full on treatment from Hunk types who know & care

Like a lot of older Japanese vinyl, the sleeve on this record is prone to some serious foxing. The white cover doesn't help. I wish there was a way to clean/prevent this from happening?

The holy grail of Japanese HC punk. 17 minutes of timeless mayhem.

This album is as crucial and important to hc/punk as any other classic release from bands like Minor Threat, A.F. etc.... one albums that is timeless. I have no great insight on the vinyl itself, just the music inside of it. i sometimes come across pages and i wish i could get a simple review from an actual fan and not a critic. if you find this album pricey its understandable... but its worth it if you have the scratch to spare. i sadly dont of the time... so its youtube and mp3s for me.

some time in 1987~88, Selfish label re-pressed this MLP at a facility in Korea, along with many of other releases on the label. the differences on this specific Gauze record are=
              1) labels are tan/beige paper with black printing
              2) hand-written matrix etchings
              3) cheap, flimsy chip-board sleeve that is greyish on the inside
also, any Selfish label Korean pressing is housed in a square thick polypropelene innersleeve that has a foggy/not-so-clear finish to it, and has small, white square'n'arrow geometric designs printed all over one side of them and the vinyl is a very dark translucent green when held up to direct light.
