Not a very nice pressing on mine. There is surface noise I can ignore but it's louder on the right channel. Everything is louder on the right side. I'm not sure if it's all her songs during recording but this is my case. Some songs' vocals are a bit drowned out and volume overall is low. I expected a lot from this being a factory new pressing. I use an AT20SLa with a shibata stylus and this LP is a borderline able in of quality control. Next time, I wish they'll just press it in 1 disc if they can't make 2 discs sound superb.
-
I own the original press as well but this reissue is almost same or better sound to the original because it's better way to make sound great 1LP to 2LP as the other reviewer said. Original copy is quite pricy so you should buy this definitely. RECOMMEND.

This is a Compilation album right? Does anyone know where the song "I Love You So" had its first appearance?
-
I guess I got slightly unlucky with my pressing as there is lots of surface noise on the last 2 tracks of side 1 but thankfully perfectly quiet on the other tracks.
Very dynamic sound quality typical of these re-issues from Japan so don’t sleep on this one! I’m minimally disappointed about the noise but seeing as the original is way out of my price range I’ll let it slide hahah -
Sound quality: Very good production. My copy has some crackles but luckily not much on the better tracks.
Music: It's an uneven album but it's more hit than miss and the highs are high. Very original musical ideas. If you love city pop don't sleep on this one. -
This is st.u.pid, why 2 LP edition? the original pressing was 1 LP, the album length is around 50 min, not more than 1 hour. Vinyl would enjoy it better. I hope this gonna be reissued like the first edition.
This is like the last reissue of Love Trip, wasnt necessary. -
Edited 3 years agoOut of all the tracks on here, A Love Affair, I Love You So and Dancin' are the standouts and (to my ears) the audio quality is nicer on the 7" (https://discogs.futbolgratis.org/release/17759884-Junko-Ohashi-A-Love-Affair-I-Love-You-So). The 7" is also cut louder. Dancin is going to be reissued on 7" later this year (July) with In Your Lovin on the b side, so I'll be getting that too. I chose to sell my copy of this compilation for these reasons.

Get this amazing compilation for Junko Ohashi which is worth for A4 - I Love You So alone! It's the only place you can find this incredible song on LP.
-
Having not heard an original copy, but this sounds incredible. Flat, no surface noise. High quality Japanese pressing as usual. Very worth the money.
